It's been a wild Fall so far in preparing for my last show (MetaCON) of the year. Just getting watercolor illustrations out of the way and finishing up some commissions I received via Etsy and Facebook. My girlfriend and I had our first show together as well in our hometown and we were featured in the local papers. Super proud of her. This was her first show selling her art and crafts. She did tremendously well and I sold like....1 thing, ha ha. Regardless, I can not wait to help her again next year :)

I went to FallCON in Minneapolis this past weekend with just my girlfriend and I. We had a a lot of fun meeting all the local comic artists and illustrators. Lots of cool cosplay going on. I look forward to this mini show every year. A lot of it is for charity and that's probably the best aspect of it all. I also get the chance to see Grant Gould and his awesome wife every time I head up. I picked up his new book I helped fund on Kickstarter and can not wait to read it. Even has my name in that back as a supporter :D

Now I'll be very busy getting commission orders out the door and just working. I'll report back from the battlefield before my show begins. Have a great October, my few followers!
